The #10 regular Oxford punch needle is a popular choice for beginners. The Oxford punch needles are self threading and are designed to be comfortable for extended periods of use.

The boxed punch needle includes a helpful handbook written by Amy Oxford which has a wealth of tips and tricks to help you get started with punch needle. The 28-page booklet includes illustrations and all the information you need to help you get started with punch needle. Also in the box is a stitch guide which will help you to keep your stitch size consistent.

The Oxford punch needles available in two widths; fine and regular. Within these widths there are multiple needles which each create a different loop height. The #10 Oxford punch needle creates loops with a height of 0.25". As well as loop stitches you can also choose to display the flat side of your work.

Amy has been teaching punch needle rug hooking for over 35 years. I am a certified Oxford Punch Needle Instructor and highly recommend her needles.
