Gripper strip frame with stand and cover
This is a PRE-ORDER for a gripper strip frame with stand and cover. These frames are suitable for punch needle and rug hooking. Gripper strip frames are available to pre-order in three different sizes, 25 cm, 35 cm and 45 cm. The stand is one-size and suitable for all frames.
Pre-orders will close on Tuesday 7 May 2024. Orders will be dispatched in approximately3 weeks following this. There is a limited number available.

When using a punch needle taut fabric is essential for allowing the needle to move smoothly through the fabric. Stretching your fabric tight is easy with a punch needle gripper strip frame. Simply place the fabric over the frame and pull over the strips to tighten.
These are high quality gripper strips specifically for use with punch needles and rug hooks. Gripper strips are attached to the frames at a slightly curved angle which opens up the teeth and maximises the grip of the fabric.
Gripper frame stands are easy to put together and adaptable for both sizes of frame. Once your frame is on the stand, pop it on a table, tilt it to your preferred angle, tighten at the sides and punch. The stand comes with two metal clamps. Insert the clamps into the stand base and clamp to your table.
Using a frame stand not only allows for a more comfortable punching experience, but it enables you to check the loop side easily whilst you're working.
All frames come with a wool mix felt fabric cover as standard to keep your hands protected from the sharp gripper strips. Additional pieces of felt are included for you to cover the corners where the grippers are the sharpest.
