This is a plastic Morgan no-slip hoop with a patented tongue and groove feature which keeps your fabric taut, making it perfect for holding your material in place when using a punch needle.
When using a punch needle taut fabric is essential for allowing the needle to move freely through the fabric. Normal wooden embroidery or quilting hoops are not strong enough to keep your fabric in place, meaning the fabric will start to sag or go baggy which in turn will make your stitches uneven. The unique feature of the re-usable gripper hoop means the fabric doesn’t budge; perfect for punch needle!
The hoop can also be used for other types of embroidery.
