Elbesee wooden embroidery hoop for punch needle
Elbesee wooden embroidery hoops come in a range of different sizes and are great for making punch needle wall hangings.
The wooden hoops are made from close-grain beech. They have smooth radius edges and are wax polished. Hoops are finished with a brass closure.
Embroidery hoops are a lovely way to display a finished punch needle project, they are also a perfect size for a smaller beginner project. The hoops are beautifully made by a small company in the UK.
Generally wooden embroidery hoops are not strong enough to withstand a punch needle and it can be difficult to keep fabric taut throughout. I suggest stretching and gluing your fabric into the hoop prior to punching.

The hoops can also be used for other types of embroidery. There are three different sizes of hoop available:
