The Ultra punch needle allows you to create a wide variety of loop heights and textures with its adjustable handle and three needle tips. The perfect punch needle for creating finer work with embroidery threads. Made in upstate New York these punch needles are designed with longevity in mind - the handles are ergonomic and designed especially to avoid hand fatigue when punching.

Recommended for use with

Use all the needle tips with a tightly woven fabric, such as the cotton punch needle fabric.

You can use embroidery threads (such as the six strand DMC) with all three needle tips - you may just need to vary the number of strands.

The larger needle tips are also compatible with fine yarns. Have some fun experimenting!

A Morgan gripper hoop is a great option for keeping the fabric under tension whilst punching.
